Questions owners ask before they start.
Straight answers, including what Calibre Forum does not do.
What is an AI readiness assessment?
It is a structured look at how a business uses AI tools today and how well it is set up to use them safely. Calibre Forum does this by asking every person to complete one short survey, then combining the answers into a scored report with a plan. It describes where you are. It does not certify anything.
How long does the survey take for staff?
Most staff need about eight minutes, and it works on a phone. Owners, managers and IT people answer more questions about their role, policy, systems and insurance, so allow them roughly 15 to 25 minutes. Nobody has to log in. Each person receives a personal link by email.
Can I see who answered what?
No. Answers are stored against a group (owners, managers, staff, IT), not against a name or email address. You see results only for groups of three or more people. You can see how many people have finished, never who.
Will my staff know the survey is about AI?
The staff introduction says the business is asking everyone how work gets done day to day, how long it takes, and that answers are anonymous and never used to decide who is needed in a role. Questions about AI tools appear in the survey, mixed in with questions about other tools and tasks, so people are not led towards a particular answer.
How much does it cost?
A$1,990 plus GST, once, for your organisation's report. You can add a membership for A$2,388 plus GST a year (billed annually), which repeats the survey every three months and emails you a fresh report each time. Prices are in Australian dollars.
Is it only for Australian businesses?
It is built in Australia for Australian and New Zealand businesses, and the report refers to laws and practices in both countries. Prices are in Australian dollars. If you are in New Zealand, contact us before you buy so we can confirm how tax applies.
Does Calibre Forum monitor my staff or read their email?
No. It is a survey. People tell us about their work and tools in their own words and by choosing answers. Nothing is installed on devices and no mailboxes or systems are connected.
What if someone admits to using a tool they should not?
The report shows it as a count and a type of tool, not a person. The aim is to find out what is really happening so the business can supply something safe. Owners see group results only for groups of three or more.
Is surveying staff about AI something I need to consult them on?
It depends on your workplace agreements and the way you intend to use the results. Surveying people about how they work is ordinary practice, but check any enterprise agreement or consultation obligations that apply to you. Calibre Forum does not give legal advice.
How is this different from a consultant's AI audit?
A consultant interviews a few people and reviews documents. Calibre Forum asks everyone the same questions privately and shows you the combined picture. It does not review your systems or documents, and it does not replace advice from a qualified adviser.
Does the report tell me whether I comply with the law?
No. It highlights controls and practices that regulators, insurers and clients commonly look at, and shows which are in place. It is a readiness view, not a compliance opinion.
Can I use it for a very small team?
The report needs at least three responses, and group results appear only where three or more people answered. For a team of three to five, most of the report will describe the whole organisation rather than separate groups.
Can I use it for a very large organisation?
It is designed for businesses of roughly 15 to 150 people. Larger organisations are welcome to contact us before buying, because their needs often differ.
What happens to my data if I stop?
You can ask us to delete your organisation's data. The privacy policy explains what we keep and why.
Who is behind Calibre Forum?
Calibre Forum is an independent Australian product. The about page has more detail on what we do and do not do.
How do I get a receipt or tax invoice?
Use the contact page and tell us which business the purchase was for. We will send you a tax invoice.
