Been asked to take the survey? Here is what it is.
Your employer is asking everyone how work gets done day to day. It takes about eight minutes, and your answers are anonymous.
What this is, and what it is not
- It is anonymous. Answers are stored against a group, not a name. Your employer sees results only for groups of three or more people.
- It is not a performance review. Nobody marks you, and the survey says results are never used to decide who is needed in a role.
- It is not a test. There are no right answers. Honest is more useful than polished.
What it asks about
How you describe your own role, what fills your week, which tools and systems you use, what slows you down, what training you have had and how you feel about change at work. Some questions are about AI tools such as chat assistants. They are mixed in with questions about other tools, so you are not expected to be an expert in any of them.
Free-text boxes
Some questions let you answer in your own words. Please leave out names, and anything that would identify you or a customer. When five or more people answer the same question, short quotes can appear in the owner's report as written.
Before you start
You do not need an account or a password. The link in your email is personal to you, so please do not forward it. Set aside a quiet few minutes and finish in one go. If something does not work, tell the person who sent the invitation, or contact us.
Questions from staff
Who sees my answers?
Your employer sees combined results for groups of three or more people. Your answers are stored against your group, such as staff or managers, not against your name or email address.
Can my answers be used to decide whether I keep my job?
The survey says that results are never used to decide who is needed in a role. The report is aimed at tools, training and process, not at individuals.
What if I use a tool I am not supposed to?
Say so. The point is to find out what is really being used so that the business can provide something safe and sensible. Answers are not reported by name.
Should I put names or details in the free-text boxes?
No. Please leave out names and anything that would identify you or a customer. In groups of five or more, short free-text answers can appear in the report as written, and your writing style may be recognisable to colleagues.
How long will it take?
About eight minutes. It works on a phone. Please finish in one sitting, because the survey does not save a half-finished attempt.
Who runs the survey?
Your employer asked for it, and Calibre Forum runs it. Calibre Forum is an independent product, not part of your employer.
